Ted Schindler

Ted was born in a U.S. Army hospital in Heidelberg, Germany. Spending most of his childhood as an “army brat” in Germany, he was quite the world traveler before moving back to Pennsylvania. After majoring in Radio-Television-Film at Temple University, Ted received his FCC engineering license and worked as a disc jockey at Philadelphia-area radio stations.
On a whim, Ted took a part time job at Sears, Roebuck & Co. and soon realized his real calling in sales. Ted’s part time job at Sears evolved into a 20-year career that saw him become one of the top performers in the country. In 1984, Ted won the Salesman of the Year trophy for his contribution in Sales, Management, and his ability to train future top performers.
Ted and his wife Dottie have been Cape Coral residents since 1988. After buying and selling properties in Cape Coral since, 1986, Ted decided to follow his wife’s lead and work for Century 21 Sunbelt Realty. Ted’s many interests include his family, sports, utilizing his U.S. Coast Guard Captain’s license on long distance fishing trips, and just getting out there on the street and talking real estate.
